Randy HIV Positive Man Caught In Heinous Act In Anambra Community

 A shocking incident unfolded  in Enugwu Agidi, a serene community in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State, as the President-General (PG) of the town, Hon. Ebuka Onuorah, alongside his security team, apprehended a man identified as Mr. John, a native of Cross River State, caught in the act of having carnal knowledge with a pregnant woman. 

 

The incident, which has sent ripples of outrage through the community, took a darker turn when it was revealed that Mr. John is HIV positive and has allegedly been engaging in similar acts with multiple women across various age groups in the town, potentially spreading the virus.  

 

According to eyewitness accounts, the suspect was caught red-handed in a secluded area of the village on Friday, February 28, 2025. 

The PG,  was alerted by concerned residents who had grown suspicious of Mr. John’s activities in recent weeks. Acting swiftly, the PG mobilized his security team and confronted the suspect, leading to his immediate arrest.  

 

Preliminary investigations by community leaders revealed disturbing allegations that Mr. John had been preying on vulnerable women in Enugwu Agidi, including minors, married women, and widows. The pregnant woman involved in the incident, whose identity remains confidential, reportedly broke down in tears, claiming she was coerced into the act. Community members expressed fury, with some alleging that the suspect’s actions may have exposed numerous residents to the deadly HIV virus.  

 

Following his arrest, Mr. John was taken to a local medical laboratory in Awka, where a rapid HIV test confirmed his positive status. A source at the laboratory, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated, “The test was conclusive. He is indeed HIV positive, and this raises serious public health concerns for the community.” 

The confirmation has heightened fears among residents, many of whom are now calling for urgent medical screenings to ascertain the extent of the damage caused by the suspect’s alleged reckless behavior.  

 

The PG, addressing a crowd of agitated residents shortly after the laboratory results were received, condemned the act in the strongest terms. 

“This is an abomination and a threat to the lives of our people. We have caught this man in the act, and the evidence is clear. We will not allow such evil to fester in Enugwu Agidi. I am referring this case to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and prosecution,” he declared. 

The PG assured the community that the suspect would be handed over to the police and health officials to ensure justice is served and to mitigate the public health risks posed by the incident.  

 

Residents of Enugwu Agidi, a town already grappling with internal challenges in recent years, expressed a mix of anger and despair. Mrs. Nkechi Okoli, a local trader, lamented, “This man has brought calamity to our town. How many families has he destroyed? Our daughters, wives, and sisters are at risk. The government must act fast!” 

Another resident, Mr. Chinedu Okafor, called for a thorough investigation into Mr. John’s movements, stating, “We need to know how long this has been happening and how many people are affected. This is a matter of life and death.”  

 

As of the time of this report, the Anambra State Police Command had yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.

However, sources within the force indicated that officers from the Njikoka Division are preparing to take custody of the suspect for interrogation and further action. 

Health officials from the Anambra State Ministry of Health are also expected to intervene, potentially launching a community-wide testing and awareness campaign to address the looming HIV threat.  

This incident has reignited discussions about the need for heightened security and vigilance in rural communities like Enugwu Agidi, as well as the importance of public health education to combat the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.
