The All Progressives Congress(APC) Anambra State Chapter, has described three years of Governor Soludo's administration as unimpressive, even as the praises from Engr Dave Umahi was meant to flatter the achievements of the APGA led government.
State Publicity Secretary of the Party, Dr Valentine Oliobi, who addressed a news conference at the state secretariat of the party, reasoned that Gov Soludo's administration has fallen short of expectations.
According to him, the comments by the Minister of Works, Engr Dave Umahi, allegedly praising APGA led government during his recent working visit to the state, is as a diplomatic way of expressing disappointment on state of development in the state.
"What he saw in Anambra was not impressive, but underwhelming. His remarks were not a validation of success but a subtle reminder that Anambra is not where it should be.
"Anambra cannot afford another year of empty speeches and crumbling promises.Ndi Anambra time to roll up the sleeves and do the real work is now.
"Ndi Anambra are not carried away by Minister Umahi's sugar-coated words. Because in-between the lines of the so-called praises are nothing. Anambra State lost all its investments to uncontrolled spending and insecurity"
He explained that Engr Umahi couldn't have genuinely praised the Governor being fully aware of his failed promises in various sectors of the state economy.
"His administration has imposed harsh and inhumane taxation on traders while falling to provide them with the most basic which is security" Dr Oliobi lamented
